How it Works
A visitor to the site can quickly and easily become a member of the network by creating their own profile on the site. Membership is free and allows member profiles to be viewed by lottery winners from all over the world who are interested in ideas, causes, businesses or personal requests to fund.
Once a new member has created a profile, they can then upload pictures, videos and information about their cause. For example, if you have a relative with a serious medical problem, you can upload a picture of your relative in hospital and another one with the both of you, perhaps in better days, along with information about your funding needs. This will put a human face on your cause and is likely to generate the kind of interest necessary for a lottery angel to want to help.
Signing up as an angel is not as easy as becoming a regular member. Before we can accept them to the network, they have to prove that they did infact win the lottery and are ready and willing to fund the causes that they claim they will. We do NOT restrict angel membership to lottery winners. If a person or organization wants to join as an angel and can prove that they have the means to readily fund the causes they choose, we are willing to accept them as members. We are very serious about carefully screening our angel members as we want to develop and maintain an excellent reputation as a reliable, trustworthy service.
A member does not have to wait around hoping to hear back from an angel after they create their profile. They can contact the angel of their choice immediately to ask for funds in the form of a loan, a grant or even a gift and be guaranteed a response from the angel within three business days. We do charge a $3.00 fee per direct request which, is refundable if you do not hear back from the angel for any reason, but the chances are that most times, they will respond quickly after reviewing your request. They will then provide you with information of how to contact them directly, or with a request for information of how to contact you, but from that point on the connection will have been made.
While there is no guarantee that an angel will want to provide the funds you ask for after you contact them, we do encourage them to at least give a portion or smaller donation towards your cause, especially in those cases involving a request made out of urgent or compelling need, so that you may be one step closer to having your cause fully funded.
